|
Delete if email - Most SPAM emails
have attachment which size is around 30 Kb. Some of them have
viruses attached. It's recommended
to use this filter with size
restriction set to 20. |
|
Delete if email
address is longer then - Some SPAMMERS will also try to
advertise in the email address itself. Normal email address
isn't longer then 30 characters. It's
recommended to use this filter with length restriction set to 40. |
|
Delete if From & Return-Path fields
are different - 99.9% of all email messages have those fields
same. If you check this option and one field is missing, email
message will be deleted. It's recommended to use
this filter.
This filter is valid only for
POP3 and
IMAP Internet accounts. |
|
Delete if From field, email address
syntax is wrong - You never know which server will allow obvious
fake address. It's here to help prevent even obvious things. If
you check this option and no From field email address is found,

filter! This filter is valid only for

|
Delete if To field email address is
not mine - A lot of SPAM email messages are deleted with this
filter. Don't wonder how can I receive email message when it's
not addressed to me. IT'S POSSIBLE but we will not write it here
how. If you check this option and To field email address is not
found, email message will be deleted.
It's recommended to use
this filter.
This filter is valid only for
POP3 and
IMAP Internet accounts. |
|
Delete if Subject field is empty -
It's recommended to use this
filter. |
|
Delete if Subject field is longer
then - Almost same as filter 'Delete
if email address is longer then'. It's
recommended to use this filter. |
|
Delete if word is similar to any
other word in Subject field - This filter will split subject to
words and compare it with your words. Please note that you need
to enter only one word and not more, else filter loses its
power. For example: Let say that subject field contains
sentence: 'Buy v1agra now and get 50% discount!!!'. Most people
doesn't want to hear about Viagra so you will add filter 'Block
subject word similar to' Viagra. Recommended percent of
similarity is 85%. You can check filter functionality before you
decide to use it. However, it's recommended to use this filter.
